"Ephraim's Example"
Isaiah 28:1-12
Returning to our exposition through the book of Isaiah, we remember on what has just finished in Isaiah's Little-Apocalypse and the new section Isaiah starts. This section speaks of Ephraim and prophesies their doom, and how Judah must heed the very same warning. This past Sunday, we also rejoiced in welcoming a new family in church membership with us.
ABOUT OUR CHURCH
North Johnson City Baptist Church has had the opportunity to serve the Tri-Cities area for decades since being incorporated in 1963. Nestled in the heart of Johnson City, TN, our church is conveniently located directly across from Towne Acres Elementary School, just off of North Roan Street and I-26 (between exits 19 and 20).
Our church seeks to equip the saints for a life rooted in Christ through sound biblical teaching, expository preaching, and uplifting congregational singing each Sunday morning, as we gather as the body of Christ for a time of reverent worship.
We hold to the historic Baptist confessions of the faith, such as the Second London Baptist Confession of 1689.
Rick Powell has served in ministry at North Johnson City Baptist Church since 2005, and on Reformation Day 2010 was instated as Lead Pastor.
